NEWS LETTERS
1. Father Charles Babu is appointed Novice Master with Fr Prasad Rao as his assistant. A preparatory formation course for him will be arranged. Fr Charles felt more comfortable with the appointment if it could be on a trial period for a year. The Council expressed its thanks to Fr Charles for taking on this important task and appointed him as the novice master for the period of 2009-10.2. Fr Selvaraj is to be fulltime Union Bursar. However, he will be available for Fr Baskar to write the scholastics annual reports.
3. Fr Joshua’s appointment to Australia remains firm, owing to our needs here for next two months he is appointed to assist Fr. Baskar at Chevalier Bhavan.
4. Fr. Antony Lazar is appointed in the Allentown diocese at the MSC parish of the Holy Family Church.
5. Fr. Antony Lazar and Fr. Julius Kumar have created a website for the Indian Union. www.indianunion.wordpress.com
6. The Council have approved quarterly budget for each house. Each house is expected to give the report including the local income.
7. There was a request for priest to work in the diocese of Tzaneen, South Africa from Rev. Hugh Slattery, MSC Bishop. Details are included with this letter. Those who are interested please write to me.
8. Fr.Chris MCPhee msc from Australian province will be here from April to September 2009.
9. New financial committee is formed. The members are as follows:
